Often online information is written at a high reading level, or precise
spelling is required to search for information online. There are tools
available that can help lower many of these barriers for Internet users,
like tools that read online text aloud, or dictionaries that show the
meaning of words on a Web page. Some of these tools are used by a
visitor to a site, and some are used by the site's developer.
