Blogs

What is a blog?

A blog (short for weblog) is a Web page of usually short messages (like diary entries) that are arranged in chronological order.

Why are blogs useful?

Blogs can be a great tool for community-based organizations. Many blogs are free or inexpensive, and they generally don't require HTML knowledge or Web-building expertise. Blogs can be links to other sites, diaries, poetry, fiction, updates, photos, and more.

The Children’s Partnership has developed original curriculum, a workshop to teach a group of teenagers how to create their own content through blogs. Learn more about this workshop and download instructions, handouts, and more.
